1. Booking, Payment and Activity Schedule

Tour bookings must be made in advance through our official website or authorized booking channels. When booking, participants must provide all required information completely and accurately. It is the customer’s responsibility to verify and confirm the accuracy of the details provided at the time of booking. Payment for the tour must be completed prior to the start of the tour, using the accepted payment methods indicated on the website or via other authorized payment methods. The price of the tour is determined based on the type of tour selected, the number of participants and any additional services requested. Once payment has been completed, a booking confirmation will be issued which will include all details of the booked tour, including departure time, meeting point and check-in instructions. Please keep your booking confirmation and present it upon arrival at the tour departure point. If you have any concerns or questions about your booking or payment, you are welcome to contact our customer service team for assistance.

Activity Schedule
Participants must be at the meeting point at least 30 minutes before the activity start time to complete the check-in procedures. It is necessary to bring the excursion booking ticket, which will be checked by our staff.

The 1-hour safari excursion is intended as the total duration of the activity.
will take place according to the following program:
5 minutes for the initial briefing, during which the safety rules and the itinerary will be explained.
5 minutes by boat to reach the jet skis and prepare for departure.
20 minutes of navigation with the jet skis.
10 minutes of break, during which participants can relax and enjoy the view.
20 minutes of further navigation with the jet skis.
5 minutes by boat to return to the port.

In case of delay, the activity may be subject to changes or cancellations at the discretion of the organization. It is recommended to wear appropriate clothing and carefully follow the instructions of the instructors to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
Once the excursion has begun, it will not be possible to request any refund under any circumstances.

2. Cancellation and Refund, No Show

In case of cancellation of the reservation, up to 24 hours before the date of the service, the cancellation is free; less than 24 hours before the date of the service or in case of no-show or no-show, no amount will be refunded. In case of modification of the reservation, it will be possible to do so only with a notice of at least 24 hours before the date of the service. In the event of adverse weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances that make it impossible to provide the service, we reserve the right to cancel or postpone the reservation. In this case, the possibility of rescheduling the reservation or obtaining a refund will be offered. The reservation will be considered valid only after receiving the payment, for the total amount or a 50% deposit. The reservation includes IGIC taxes 15%.  Please note that the early return of the jet ski does not entitle the customer to request a refund. Please note that these terms and conditions are subject to change without notice. Please always check the refund policy before booking a business with us no-show, no-show, is non-refundable. Failure to arrive occurs when the customer does not show up on the date and time scheduled for the booked service. The supplier will not refund the rates provided for the booked service in case of no-show. In case of need to move the reservation to another time, there will be a supplement of 50 € for jet ski. In case of booking with only deposit, the customer is required to pay the total amount by the established date. The customer is responsible for the rates for no-show, even if the booking was made by a third party. The United Nations Convention on the Contract for the International Sale of Goods applies.

3. Documentation required

Before the start of the tour, it is mandatory to present a valid identification document, such as an identity card or passport, or a photo of such documents. This requirement is essential to verify the customer’s identity and ensure safe participation in the tour. Documentation must be presented to Jet Ski Island staff at check-in, along with your booking confirmation. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that they bring the required documentation with them and present it in a timely manner upon check-in. Failure to present the required documentation could result in the inability to participate in the tour and the loss of the right to a refund. Please pay particular attention to the documentation requirements specified in your booking confirmation and contact our customer service team if you have any questions or concerns. Jet Ski Island reserves the right to refuse tour participation to any individual who does not meet the required documentation requirements or who fails to provide required documentation at the time of check-in.

4. Adverse Weather Conditions

Jet Ski Island is committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of participants during the tours. However, in case of bad weather or adverse weather conditions that may endanger the safety of participants, the company reserves the right to cancel or postpone the tour. Decisions regarding the cancellation or postponement of tours due to weather conditions will be made solely at the discretion of Jet Ski Island and will be communicated to participants as soon as possible.Jet Ski Island will cancel tours only when the official bulletin and the port display a yellow or red flag. In these cases, participants will have the option to reschedule the tour for another date or receive a full refund of the payment made. However, if we deem the conditions safe to operate and the customer does not feel comfortable participating because they are scared, they will not be entitled to a refund or rescheduling of the activity.The company will not be held responsible for any additional expenses incurred by participants due to the cancellation or postponement of the tour, including, but not limited to, travel expenses, accommodation, or financial losses. Participants are encouraged to contact our customer service for further information or assistance in case of adverse weather conditions.

5. Customer Responsibilities

Tour participants are required to comply with all provisions and instructions provided by Jet Ski Island during the tour to ensure their safety and that of other participants. This includes, but is not limited to, following the rules of navigation, correctly using the safety equipment provided and complying with local laws and regulations regarding navigation and maritime safety. Participants must be aware of the risks associated with participating in a personal watercraft tour and must take all necessary precautions to avoid accidents or injuries. Additionally, participants are required to inform Jet Ski Island of any pre-existing medical conditions or other circumstances that may affect their participation in the tour. Jet Ski Island declines all responsibility for any personal or material damage suffered by participants due to improper or negligent use of equipment, disobedience to staff instructions, or for any other reason not attributable to Jet Ski Island. 

6. Damage to Vehicles

During the tour, participants are required to use the transportation provided by Jet Ski Island in a responsible and prudent manner. Any damage caused to the vehicles during the tour due to improper, negligent or intentional use will be the responsibility of the customer. This includes damage caused to the watercraft, life jackets or other equipment provided during the tour. In the event of damage to the vehicles, the customer will be required to cover the costs necessary to repair or replace the damaged vehicles, according to the rates and conditions established by Jet Ski Island. Damage must be reported immediately to Jet Ski Island staff at the end of the tour. The customer agrees to fully cooperate with the staff to evaluate and resolve any issues relating to damage to the vehicles. Jet Ski Island reserves the right to charge the customer the cost of damage caused to the vehicles during the tour, according to the rates established by Jet Ski Island. The determination of damages and related costs will be at the sole discretion of Jet Ski Island and will be considered final. Acceptance of these terms and conditions implies acceptance of being responsible for any damage caused to the vehicles during the tour and of covering the related repair or replacement costs.

7. Company Responsibility

Jet Ski Island is committed to providing a safe, high-quality experience for tour participants. However, the company declines all responsibility for any personal or material damage suffered by participants during the tour, except in the case of proven negligence on the part of the company. This means that Jet Ski Island will not be held responsible for accidents or injuries that may occur during the tour, unless it is proven that such accidents were caused by negligent action or violation of safety regulations on the part of the company . The company undertakes to take all necessary measures to ensure the safety of participants, including the provision of adequate safety equipment, training of customers and staff. However, participants are required to follow all instructions provided by Jet Ski Island staff during the tour and abide by established safety rules to ensure a safe experience for all participants. Please carefully read and understand all safety provisions before taking the tour and contact Jet Ski Island staff if you have any questions or concerns.

8. Obligation to Use Safety Equipment

During the tour, it is essential that all participants use the safety equipment provided by Jet Ski Island. This includes the obligation to wear a life jacket during the entire duration of the water activity. The life jacket must be worn correctly and fastened securely to ensure optimal buoyancy in the event of a fall into the water. The safety equipment provided by Jet Ski Island is designed and tested to ensure maximum protection and safety for participants in the water. It is forbidden to remove or modify safety equipment during the tour, and participants are required to follow all instructions provided by the guide regarding the correct use of the same. Jet Ski Island is committed to providing adequate safety equipment in good condition for all participants, and reserves the right to deny participation in the tour to anyone who does not comply with the obligation to use safety equipment or puts the your own safety and that of other participants.

9. Minimum Age

The minimum age to participate in the tours is established to ensure the safety of participants and compliance with local regulations. Participants must be at least 16 years old to ride a watercraft alone and at least 18 years old to ride with a passenger. Participants must have a valid ID proving their age before the start of the tour. For passengers, the minimum age is 6 years and they must be able to touch the bottom of the watercraft with their feet to ensure a stable and safe position during the tour. Adults accompanying minors must ensure that they comply with the regulations and provisions established by Jet Ski Island for the safety of participants. Any violation of these requirements may result in the inability to participate in the tour and the loss of the right to a refund. Jet Ski Island reserves the right to request documentation to verify the age of participants at check-in.

10. Water Safety

The safety of participants is a top priority for Jet Ski Island. Before participating in the tour, participants must be in good physical condition. It is important that participants are aware of the risks associated with water activities and are prepared to follow all instructions provided by the guide during the tour. During the tour, participants must wear safety equipment provided by Jet Ski Island, including life jackets and crash helmets. It is forbidden to consume alcohol or drugs before or during the tour, as this could compromise the safety of participants and other sea users. Participants must respect the navigation rules and instructions provided by the guide during the tour to ensure their own safety and that of other participants. In the event of an emergency or accident on the water, participants must follow the guide’s instructions and cooperate fully with Jet Ski Island staff to ensure a quick and safe resolution of the situation. Jet Ski Island undertakes to take all necessary measures to ensure the safety of participants during the tour, including staff training and vehicle maintenance, but cannot be held responsible for any accidents or injuries that may occur during the activity . In order to prevent accidents, we reserve the right to refuse customers who do not accept our regulations, those under the effects of alcohol and drugs, and to end the excursion early for those who with their behavior may be a danger to other participants, in all these cases no refund is provided.

 

Photoshoot

During the tour, we offer a professional photography service to capture the unforgettable moments of your jet ski experience in Tenerife. Our guides are equipped with high-quality cameras and have the experience necessary to capture the most exciting moments of the tour. A typical photography session includes approximately 100 high-quality photos that will be available for purchase at the end of the tour or included in your ticket. The photo shoot is an additional option available for participants interested in preserving memories of their tour. i of this adventure are captured in a professional and lasting way. The photos will be sent within a maximum of 24 hours, in digital format via the WeTransfer service, the customer has a maximum of 7 days to download and save the photos, after the maximum time limits we are not responsible for the loss of the photos.

 

12. Wetsuit Rental Service

We offer a wetsuit rental service to ensure maximum comfort and safety during your jet ski tour. The wetsuit is available at an additional cost of €10 or included with Gold tickets, it must be requested at check-in. The wetsuit provided is of high quality and offers thermal protection and water resistance, allowing participants to enjoy the experience without worries. The wetsuit rental service is recommended for those who wish to face the waters of Tenerife with greater comfort and protection. Participants are invited to contact us for further information or to book the wetsuit rental service in advance. We are here to ensure that you have everything you need to make the most of your jet ski tour in Tenerife.

13. Storage of Personal Items

To ensure the safety of participants during the tour and prevent any damage or loss, cell phones or personal accessories such as bracelets or watches are not permitted during the jet ski activity. However, we offer a free personal items storage service at our departure point. Participants can securely store their items in our storage facility before the start of the tour and collect them at the end of the activity. It is important to note that GoPros with a chest or head mount are permitted on the tour and participants are encouraged to use them to capture memorable moments of their jet ski experience in Tenerife. For more information on storing personal items or devices permitted on the tour, participants are encouraged to contact our customer service team. We are here to ensure that you can enjoy your tour in comfort and safety.

14. Respect for the Environment

Jet Ski Island is actively committed to promoting and encouraging respect for the marine environment during tours. Participants are required to follow all local regulations regarding nature conservation and marine heritage during the tour. It is forbidden to throw waste into the sea or on the beach during the tour. Please use the waste containers and bins available at the tour departure point to dispose of waste properly. During the tour, participants are expected to respect marine wildlife and avoid disturbance or damage to marine ecosystems. It is forbidden to feed or disturb wild animals during the tour. Please keep a safe distance from marine animals and do not disturb their natural habits. Jet Ski Island is committed to raising awareness among participants of the importance of conserving the marine environment and promoting responsible behavior during tours. Participants are encouraged to report any violations of environmental regulations during the tour and to actively collaborate to protect the marine environment for future generations.

15. Changes to the Terms and Conditions

Jet Ski Island reserves the right to make changes to these terms and conditions at any time without notice. Any changes will take effect immediately upon posting on the official Jet Ski Island website. It is the customer’s responsibility to periodically check for changes to the terms and conditions. Continued use of the services offered by Jet Ski Island after the changes to the terms and conditions come into force will constitute the customer’s acceptance of the new provisions. Jet Ski Island is committed to informing customers in a timely manner of any significant changes to the terms and conditions through direct communications or through notices published on the official website. Please read carefully and understand the provisions of the terms and conditions before using the services offered by Jet Ski Island.
